1. Warranty period

1.1. Residential and commercial window film

The warranty period for NanoX residential and commercial window film ranges from 2 to 10 years, depending on the film line selected:

The warranty period for NanoX automotive window film ranges from 10 years to Lifetime. NanoX takes pride in offering the longest warranty coverage in the automotive window film segment in Vietnam.

2. Warranty commitments

In the event that a covered defect occurs, you can have complete peace of mind knowing that NanoX commits to the following:

2.1. Cost coverage

You will not incur any costs during the warranty process for defects that fall within NanoX’s warranty coverage.

Specifically, NanoX covers all of the following costs in full:

• Replacement window film (same line or equivalent).
• Technician labor costs.
• Removal of the existing film.
• Installation of the new film.
• Transportation and travel costs.

2.2. Fast processing timeline

• On-site assessment: Within 48 hours of intake.

2.3. Replacement film quality

3. Warranty eligibility conditions

NanoX will honor a warranty claim when all of the following conditions are met:

3.2. Applicable defect conditions

For residential and commercial window film

NanoX applies warranty coverage for residential and commercial window film when the following conditions are met:

• The film is still within the warranty period.
• The film presents any of the following defects: bubbling, cracking, or peeling caused by a product defect or an installation error.

For automotive window film

NanoX applies warranty coverage for automotive window film when the following conditions are met:

• The film is still within the warranty period.
• The film presents any of the following defects: discoloration, bubbling, cracking, or peeling caused by a product defect or an installation error.

4. Warranty claim process

NanoX commits to a transparent, efficient, and cost-free warranty process in 7 steps:

Step 1. Submit a warranty request.

Step 2. Provide information: your registered phone number, a description of the defect, and photos or videos if available.

Step 3. Lookup and verification: NanoX retrieves your records from the Electronic Warranty System and confirms the warranty status within 24 hours.

Step 4. Technical assessment: Within 48 hours of intake, the NanoX technical team conducts an inspection.

• For residential and commercial window film: If the condition of the film cannot be clearly assessed remotely, a NanoX technician or consultant will visit your premises.
• For automotive window film: NanoX will schedule an appointment for you to bring your vehicle to a showroom.

Step 5. Assessment feedback: NanoX provides the assessment outcome and a specific resolution plan.

Step 6. Defect resolution: Within 48 hours (or as scheduled at your convenience), NanoX proceeds with removing the old film and installing the replacement.

Step 7. Final inspection: You inspect the quality and confirm completion of the warranty service.

5. Film care and maintenance guidelines

To ensure your window film delivers maximum performance and longevity in accordance with the warranty commitment, please follow the guidelines below:

During use, NanoX recommends cleaning the glass surface with a soft cotton cloth. Please strictly avoid the use of glass cleaning solutions or harsh chemical cleaners on the film surface, sharp or abrasive objects that may scratch the film, and placing heat-emitting devices near the film.

5.1. Recommended practices

• Clean the glass with a soft cotton cloth or clean microfiber cloth.
• Use plain clean water to dampen the cloth for wet cleaning.
• Wipe gently in a single direction — avoid scrubbing or applying excessive pressure.
• Keep your warranty card in a safe place, or save your registered phone number for convenient online warranty lookup.

5.2. Practices to avoid

• Do not use glass cleaners containing ammonia, high-concentration alcohol, or harsh chemical agents.
• Do not use sharp or hard objects (knives, scissors, fingernails, etc.) to clean the film surface.
• Do not place heat-emitting devices (hair dryers, portable gas stoves, etc.) near windows with installed film.
• Do not apply additional layers of film over the existing installation.
• In the event of a defect, do not attempt to remove, adjust, or repair the film yourself, or engage a third-party service provider outside of the NanoX network.

6. Warranty exclusions

To best protect your interests, NanoX clearly outlines the circumstances that fall outside the scope of warranty coverage.

6.1. For residential and commercial window film

• Film applied to exterior glass surfaces, balconies, awnings, etc.
• Film applied over another existing film layer, or covered by an additional film layer on top.
• Film that is scratched, peeling, or damaged due to user error, external physical impact, fire, natural disasters, flooding, etc.
• Film that was not installed by the NanoX technical team.
• Film that has been tampered with or repaired by an unauthorized third-party service provider.

 6.2. For automotive window film

• Film applied to exterior glass surfaces.
• Film applied over another existing film layer, or covered by an additional film layer on top.
• Film that is scratched, peeling, or damaged due to user error, external physical impact, fire, natural disasters, flooding, etc.
• Film that was not installed by the NanoX technical team.
• Film that has been tampered with or repaired by an unauthorized third-party service provider.

How long is the NanoX window film warranty?

No. NanoX covers 100% of all costs: replacement film, technician labor, removal of the old film, installation of the new film, and transportation. You will incur no costs whatsoever for defects that fall within the warranty coverage.

What does a Lifetime warranty on automotive film mean?

A Lifetime warranty means the film is warranted for the life of the original vehicle — with no time limit. As long as the vehicle exists and you remain the registered owner (as recorded on the warranty card), NanoX will honor the Lifetime warranty for any defects covered under the policy.

Am I covered if I purchased the film through an authorized dealer?

Yes. If you purchased through an officially authorized NanoX dealer, please contact the dealer directly to initiate your warranty claim as committed. Can I still claim warranty if I have lost my warranty card?

Is bubbling within one month of installation covered under warranty?

Yes. If the film develops bubbling due to a product defect or installation error (not caused by physical impact from the user), NanoX will remove and replace the film.

Is the replacement film also covered under warranty?

Yes. The replacement film continues to be covered under the original warranty terms (the warranty period is not restarted from zero). For example: an automotive film under the Platinum package carries a Lifetime warranty — after a replacement, the Lifetime warranty continues to apply.

How long does the warranty process take?

The total processing time is typically within 48 hours. In urgent cases or where additional time is needed, NanoX can expedite or schedule the service according to your request.
