Starting from the material, NanoX’s Nano Ceramic X-Shield technology ecosystem uses ceramic as the main material, also known as “technical ceramic glaze” to produce heat-insulating film. In terms of performance, ceramic glaze is outstanding when it possesses the ability to absorb and reflect heat from the sun extremely well. Therefore, it is ideal for producing heat-insulating film for greenhouses and cars.

Nano Ceramic X-Shield technology applies the latest high-tech baking method in the production of heat-insulating film. This method has accurately calculated important factors that directly affect the quality, including: baking temperature, baking time, maximum heat retention time, baking environment (pressure), heating rate, cooling rate, etc.

In particular, Nano Ceramic X-Shield uses a high firing temperature of over 1,000 degrees Celsius instead of a low temperature of only a few hundred degrees like poor quality heat-insulating films. Because the firing temperature is too low, especially below 1,000 degrees Celsius, plus the regulation of time, the non-standard firing environment will greatly reduce the heat resistance. In addition, it also causes the film when applied to the glass to become cloudy, with a very unpleasant foggy effect.

The application of high-tech baking helps Nano Ceramic X-Shield technology create ceramic particles with a size of nano units, only 28 nm (instead of 50 – 100 nm as usual). This is one of the points that NanoX is most proud of in its heat-insulating film production technology.

Nano Ceramic X-Shield technology structures the film with a perfect radiation filtering system. The film has the ability to eliminate up to 100% of infrared rays (IRR) – the main heat-carrying radiation in sunlight. Combined with the regulation of visible light, the film will become a “shield”, continuously absorbing and reflecting heat from the sun back to the outside environment, keeping the room temperature stable.

At the same time, Nano Ceramic X-Shield also integrates in the film a filtering system that eliminates up to 100% of ultraviolet rays (UV). This type of radiation causes many harmful effects on the skin, eyes and is the main cause of fading of interiors.

In the heat-insulating film manufacturing industry, it is very difficult to increase the infrared blocking index of the film to absolute. It is even more difficult for films with high light transmission and transparency. However, NanoX has made this a reality thanks to Dual Nano Ceramic X-Shield technology.

As a result, we have launched the P70 film code of the top Diamond View line with the ability to block 100% of infrared rays, light transmission up to 65%, and extremely low haze of only 0.85.

UV400 Nano Ceramic X-Shield

UV400 Nano Ceramic X-Shield is a technology that focuses on comprehensive protection. In addition to heat protection, this technology also completely blocks UV rays. Especially UV rays with the highest wavelength of 400 nm that are harmful to the skin and blue light 400 – 420 nm that is bad for the eyes.
